Appreciate the insights. I guess I will grab a KP.
Low light capabilities is indeed a plus for me, since I oft shoot long exposure. As for the GPS, I already have a O-GPS1 module that is also compatible with the KP.

Thought of that but will probably be way more pricy then the ones I mentioned. Thats why I discarded a K-1

Hi guys, I am finally ready to replace my K-5.
I am considering upgrading to a K-3ii or a KP, which are in the same price range. The K-1 is therefore not an option.
Did any of you have gone to such upgrade?
I shoot mostly landscapes and sky. The K-3ii has the built-in O-GPS1 which is a positive factor but not a must, since I have the module for the K-5 which will probably work on the KP.
Does anyone know which module works better? the builtin in the K3 or external?
Any other considerations?

Just for the protocol, I just bought a Toshiba Flashair 32GB and it works perfectly with the K-5 as well.

Yeah I thought of getting a the WR version since its a K-5.. but I rarely shoot in wet conditions. But we never know when the rain comes right

Hello guys,
I am willing to get a 70-300mm lens and have to decide between Tamron and Sigma
Tamron AF 70-300mm 4-5,6
Sigma 70-300 mm F4,0-5,6
Any experience/remarks?

Hello,
i want to get some fisheye glasses. Does anyone here have them? I am considering Walimex Pro 8 mm 1:3,5 or the one from Pentax SMC DA 10-17mm.
Sigmas have AF but are quite costly.
If anyone had the opportunity to shoot with any of these, please comment.

have also used the K5 under rain and snow for several hours. No problems at all!
This was actually the main reason I decided to upgrade from Kx.
