Taken in Mt. Dora, Florida. Of all the shots taken that day of baby gators, the momma gator with a damsel fly on it's head and even an osprey diving into the lake to catch a fish, this was my favorite. The way the 500mm lens bokeh-ed out the tall reed grass in the background to help show off this battle torn dragonfly really stood out to me. This image was adjusted in Lightroom.

Shot this last night. Got a fairly sharp image at 440mm so I brought out the details in LR4. Got some decent 500mm photos with this lens too, but not quite as sharp.

My name is Dante. I have had a Pentax K-x for about a year and half now. It's a great camera! I originally got it because I had a couple older lenses from my Pentax K-1000 SLR. I am considering upgrading to K-5 in the near future. I also have a W90, which is another great little camera; just wish it had a manual mode.
I am still somewhat new to the DSLR world. Please feel free to critique all my images as I am finding that I have a lot to learn.
