I just ordered a new k-5 and need some help picking out the right lens because it will be the only one I will have for a few months. There are two I am looking at: the DA 18 -135mm DC WR or the SmcP FA 43mm f/1.9. I will be using this for a little of everything so I need something that is versatile. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help in making my decision. I am going to go with the K5 black body and use the money I save on lenses.

Guys I need some help please. I am going to buy a k-5 this week and it is my first DSLR camera. I have been obsessing over finding a K-5 Limited Silver edition and I found one for $1,900 body only. Now a regular k-5 in only $1,200 so I would pay a huge premium for the Limited but I am a sucker for these types of things. The question is should I pay up and just get it because it has been discontinued and will be only harder to find, or just get the regular one and spend the extra money on lenses?

Hi i am new to photography and am looking to get started with a nice camera. The K-5 Silver addition is what I am looking for. Any thoughts on a good high end starter camera?
