Have tried in vain to install a new firmware for my new K3.I know very little about computers but I do like photography.Tried to follow the instructions but didnīt succeed.I think I must do without firmware 1.01 and be happy with 1.00.I didnīt upgrade my K5 or K20 D .Why canīt Pentax make it simple also for computer ignorants like myself.By the way:I am quite satisfied with the pictures I take with the new camera.I use Qimage or ACD 6 and Paintshop Pro 6 ultimate when printing.

I cleaned my sonīs K10D and my own K20D by simply using mirrorlockup in the menue and carefully putting in the tube of our vacuumcleaner and start the cleaner.100% success!Why this fuss with blowers-where you just move the dust around- or wet cleaning.I wouldnīt hesitate using my method on my second Pentax-K5 if I had dust problems there.

Inthe menu you can choose mirrorlockup and then remove the lens and by means of a strong vacuumcleaner carefully insert the tube and start .Be careful!I have succeeded in cleaning my sonīs K10D and my own K20 D to 99%.
