With Pentax this is usually not a key combination, but a file on the SD card. There was a modset file to be placed in the root of the card with the K-x. Then one could just turn the cam off while holding the Ev key and the system menu showed up - there one could find info regarding the actual shutter count, focus corrections for FF or BF (yes on the k-x) etc.
I tried this on the K-5, but this file does not work on it. May be someone already has the file for the k-5?

Hi,
I have to disagree with you. I find the Metz 58 AF-1 a really excellent flash. I use it both on a K-x and a K-5 body and it never failed a single shot.
I suggest you check the condition of your copy of the flash and perhaps update the firmware - easily available at Metz site, which features excellent support.
