At the same show on independence day this year where the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds both performed, I captured this P-51 against the clouds. As the plane is black, white and silver, makes for a good high contrast B&W photo.

I think this is good advice. I do plan on having two cameras with me. I will have the DFA 150-450 of course, and I really want to bring the DFA* 70-200 that I have as well. It's a lot to carry, but I'm a firm believer in redundancy.
As I've been thinking things over in my mind about equipment and what to do when I'm there, I don't want to go on such an expensive trip, and compromise on equipment. If there's something I'll need, I want to be sure I have it.

I'm starting to prepare for a similar trip in 2020, and I also have the D FA 150-450 lens. Can you tell me anything about how it may have gotten broken? Is there something that might have prevented the damage that might be useful to me? Thanks for this thread, I found it most helpful.
