The GXR is a great concept that produces terrific images. If it accepted K-mount lenses, the Q would go nowhere.

I used a K-1000 for about 15 years and loved it. About 15 years ago, I was ambushed while hiking in Honduras and it was stolen from me. I replaced it with a ZX-M, which I have loved almost as much, except for the cost of battery replacement. I do not think that I ever replaced the battery in my K-1000.

I have been a Pentax film user for a number of years and am making the switch to digital slr, and have decided to continue with Pentax rather than Canon or Nikon. (I also had Canon EOS film equipment, which I never liked.)
I look forward to learning from the experienced Pentax users here.
