I nominate this picture for the black and white contest.
It's evocative, lyrical, well composed and ...the grain !!!
the texture adds so much feeling..!!!

The title of this photo should be "Looking back" ? Good timing and well captured.

Been busy for a while. Here's a mixed bag of shots from a visit to the UK.
Kew Gardens. London
And Again:
And Another, Plant Abstract:
Brighton Starlings. Shame about the poor light but the birds co-operated with the composition:
Underneath the pier you see in that photo:
Then up to London, an image of its little known beach:
Then along the river for some blue hour tourist snaps:
Sorry, bit image heavy, but I like visiting familiar places in a more tourist guise, can't help taking tons of photos.

I have been waiting to photograph this particular scene with snow on the ground. I finally got around to it this evening and the setting sun was in an excellent spot. So I am very pleased with how it turned out. PP with Aperture 3 and Nik plugins. IMGP4721 by Schmidlapper, on Flickr

Finally pulled my camera back out after a couple of months. I got lucky with my job location last week and I think I got some good ones. Saw a Golden Eagle AND had my camera handy, I was pretty jazzed about it haha.
