I started out shooting film some 25 years ago on a K1000, but stopped shortly. A little over a year ago I dived deep into photography again, this time with a Nikon system. But felt the need to shoot some film again, and got a (very) used Pentax MX, a nifty fifty, and it's a pleasure!

Started out with a K1000 and a funky zoom some 25 years ago. Shot some, developed some, then stopped for quite a while.
Several point and shoots in between... got married, got kids, got a career, the usual (good) stuff.
A couple of years ago I came back to photography, this time digital, and went Nikon all the way. Currently running a D7000 and some primes, plus my "laptoped" digital darkroom.
Now I'm ready to return to film, so I got a couple of B&W rolls, a black Pentax MX and an SMC 50mm f1.7, joined this forum, and let's see how it goes from here. Thinking of shooting, having some lab develop, then scanning and into digital post-processing. The main objective is recovering the all-manual-no-excuses approach to photography.
