Oh, so that's where I went wrong. I got mixed up and took a large bite after shooting it. ;)
In all seriousness I think that is an excellent idea and I'll be doing it later with a new shot and a new piece of cake.
Thanks SnappyChappy

Originally I thought thaty the colour version was too 'busy'. But the more I look at it, the more I like it too. :D

Very professional looking product shots. Nicely done.
Any plans for this 20,000,000Hz beast?

Got myself a K-5 yesterday and thought I'd give it a test today. I'm loving it so far. Such a huge improvement on my K2000
Anyway,
please enjoy this shot. I took it handheld at ISO 3200 and I can't believe the result!
I'd love to hear (or read) what you think. Good or bad. :) Click for larger sizes.

I've been meaning to retry water drops and I got my new flash today (Metz 50 AF-1) so I took a swipe at it.
Hope you enjoy it. Any comments are always welcome (good or bad).

Thank you all for your comments.
I did originally have the glass filled with water and tried to capture drops of food colouring moving through it. It didn't work out due to bubbles forming in the water and the fact that the food colouring had been in the cupboard for far too long.
I will be trying it again though.

The M 50mm 1.7 is a great little lens (possibly my favourite that I own). I think these shots really show its' strengths. I think number 3 is my favourite. Thanks.

I was trying to get a low key shot of glass on a black background. It turned out better than expected.
Hope you enjoy it. Any comments are always welcome (good or bad). :D

Excellent pictures. I think you've managed to use the overcast conditions to your advantage and created a lot of atmosphere. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you all for your comments. I hadn't even considered HDR for this. I'm certainly going to try it once the rain stops and I've got some time free from work.
