Yeah, that was a hot German greeting. Happily now a modern Dutch look on arrivals of the 21th century.

What a pity it isn't 100% symmetric.
Despite that I nominate this photo for its excellent lightning and composition.

Ron,
Thanks for your enthousiastic reaction and nomination.
It is very difficult to make a phot of and from a nice spot indeed. There are so much photographers...
I've been there a day after unpacking my K-3 and I'm exciting about the specs of this camera.

Hello,
I am a newbie on this forum and at first I want say sorry for my 'english speech'.
I live in the Netherlands and I like photography. Some of my work you can see on my site http://www.hansn.nl
I have a long history of photography. On my 17 I bought my first camera, a compact. End sixties I changed camera: my first slr with a 55mm Helios primelens and a 50-135mm tele made by Sigma. A converter and rings and a new photohobby was born. Macro! Priorities changed by having a family and also the objects to photography....
When camera has broken cheap compacts were introduced. Until 2003.. I bought my first digital compact. Too simpel, because I changed within two years to a hybrid: the Fuji Finepix S9500. And yes I find macro again.
After some time (too fast) I found the limits and I bought a DSLR: the Pentax K10D with 18-55mm kitlens and a Sigma 70-300mm telezoom. And very soon the Sigma 50mm f/2.8 macro...
At the end of last year, short after introducing I get my Pentax K-5. With the Pentax 17-70mm f/4.0.
And still my favourit photo's are macro, but also interested in architecture and industrial design.
I hope I have a nice time here.
