Where did I said anything about burst rates? ILIS+IBIS should be possible for Pentax. Fast AF drive in high end telephotos is possible as well as we can see with DFA lenses. I do not expect high frame rates nor subject recognition from Pentax.

It is you, not everyone is like you. I personally would love to get fast AF stabilized telephoto lens for my airshows. I can manage with film and Pentax-M telephoto if I need to, but it does not mean I do not want to take advantage of what modern technology offers.

I am about to get a K3 monochrome (trading all my fuji gear for it), but I already shoot monochrome with my M10monochrome rangefinder. I discovered a bit by change a new use for my red filter... erasing pimples on my daughter during a session of portraits. Saves quite a lot of time in post production! which is why I ll have 2 monochrome sensors! And yes I use orange a lot outside, so another vote for orange as first color filter to get...

In churches I don’t want to cause any noise with my DSLR and lens. To stay unobstrusive I also don’t want to use a tripod and don’t want to hold the camera far and high from my body.
Optimal would be to use the camera in „display mode“ and use the „electronic shutter“ and no use of screw drive autofocus. So no mirror-up and shutter noise will appear and now screwing noise. Great that we can use Shake Reduction with Electronic Shutter on the K-3iii / Monochrome! So we don’t need to push ISO too much.
One thing where the K3iii / K3iiiMono falls behind the K-1 is, that it doesn’t have a moonlander or tilt screen usable in landscape and portrait mode. This was said by many others already. I think it’s good to name use cases where this might be a disadvantage.
An image I made yesterday - silent but I had to hold the camera above my eyes to compose the shot via the fixed camera display to catch the height of the church ... in post strong Keystone Correction and crop to 9:16 aspect ratio ...  |

Watching The Waters Of River Isar, Munich 
My wife spotted this kingfisher while we were walking along river Isar in Munich.
Mh, because the blue vibrant feathers of this guy were just wonderful, in this case using a "color" camera would have been surely nice. Really didn't expect this kind of bird here. Composition so that the pebble bank in the middle of the stream supported to get some contrast to the bird. Image cropped to 16:10. |

Time for another Trichromatic image ... (x-post) 
Low natural light supported by small LED Amaran AL-M9. Three captures using Red, Green and Blue filter merged using Affinity Photo and my "filter-based" icc-Profile.
