Again, passively aggressively saying I am not a friendly person?
I was quoted here and all I said was "AMEN" agreeing with the person who made the original statement, which was quoted also but not attributed.
Why single me out?
How would you respond if someone singled you out and implied you were an unfriendly person?
I'm just asking questions at this point. Is that considered "aggressive and hostile?"
Is your comment here all that friendly?

So you are accusing me of being hostile and aggressive when I'm being honest, and that I have a problem with that as do some other members?
And when I am like that, that's why the mods step in? And you like that solution...
And in no way are you being passive aggressive? And craftily and insultingly baiting me? So that I have to defend myself and then I'm the bad actor by being aggressive and hostile?
While these comments last, thanks for perfectly illustrating everything I'm saying, I appreciate it.

Most every time I participate in a thread or start a thread here, I get jumped by someone passively aggressively starting a fight so that my posts get deleted or my threads get locked.
It's very easy to do, someone makes a borderline insulting snarky comment, I try to defend myself.
So for me the forum part of the experience is a hostile environment best to be avoided.
As an information resource for Pentax it's great, but I access that most times not signed it. It prevents me from trying to be helpful and get beat up for my efforts.
My contribution to the Pentax community can be accessed through my Youtube channel. I read and respond to every comment and help as much as I can. ---------- Post added 03-22-22 at 08:24 AM ----------
Thanks! I appreciate that!

"It is a home for passive aggressive game playing keyboard warriors. It's about winning arguments here through clever use of the English language. Be slimy enough to not be outright caught and you can be as mean as you like."
AMEN.

Clearly complaining about it is a waste of time, especially with a brand like Pentax which releases new cameras in a glacial time frame.
And what I'm saying is it was a mistake. Which seems to be what your saying.
Now that we got that clear... ---------- Post added 03-21-22 at 09:16 AM ----------
Which field monitor do you use? Thanks.

I hear what your saying Pentax said but Fuji was saying the same things to justify that the put the screen on the XPro3 on backwards...
Lack of some kind of movable screen on the K3 III was just a mistake in my opinion. It limits it's usability, on what is a very capable camera.
Having said all that, touch focus in live view works amazingly well. I really hope all that tech moves into the K1 Mark III some day (while retaining the lunar lander on the back....)

There's very few people on YT I won't watch. He's the one... :)
I base all of my camera system decisions on the prints I make and what they look like. And my print judgements are based on working for over 30+ years in a professional darkroom so I kinda know what I'm looking for. I think most of my regular YT viewers know it's really to the point of an obsession for me.
So when someone reviews a camera, I always wonder what are the most important things this person is basing their conclusions on. For Toneh it seems it's how much money he can make if he makes a video about it and says something stupid to create a buzz. (Fro is almost as bad.)
Another example is DPreview TV. Overall they do a really good job for "drive by reviews." They compare different cameras using the same criteria, but they don't use the cameras for an extended period of time trying to actually do anything serious with them. So you get a very broad overview of A vs B vs C, which is somewhat useful, but as with most things in life the devil is in the details and you have to use the cameras for a while to find out what they're really like to live with. (Makes you wonder how any marriages survive as well... ;) )
For Pentax specific reviews this forum is one of the best sources for fair and in depth information on Pentax cameras and lenses. As we all know it's a system you have "to get it" to be happy with, and most don't have a clue what it's about.
