The F4 will work with AFS and AFI lenses despite the fact they didn't exist when the F4 was released.

Yes. I've bought lots of cameras in charity shops.

It's almost immaculate. The back has some white polystyrene from the box stuck to it but it is coming off. It even has the screw in eyepeice still in place. That's normally the first thing to disappear on this style Nikon.

Nikon FE by F4ronnie, on Flickr
Just bought this Nikon FE (without the lens) from the same charity shop I got the recent MX from.

Film in it just now so we'll know soon. Meter seems fine and speeds at least sound OK (I know that doesn't mean a lot).

The Nikon built in flashes from the D70 onwards are definitely worth having as they can act as 'commanders' for off camera flashes without contributing any light themselves.

Interesting as my ST701 has a plain M42 mount with nothing to connect to a tab on the lens.

Apparently the DW-2 isn't very common either. I need to find a prsim for it though.

Came with the DW-2 and AR-1 but the 28/3.5 I had already.

My MZ-5 (posted earlier in this thread) came to me not working. Broken plastic gear on the motor shaft. Replaced the gear some time ago but this didn't cure the problem. I was having a look again last night and spotted that the aperture actuating lever in the body was in the wrong position. It sat at the top of it's travel rather than at the bottom. When i pressed the shutter release I could see something trying to move in that area but nothing happened. So I tried to move the lever down to the bottom where it should be but it wouldn't stay. I then tried again while pressing the shutter release to see if that would allow it to latch and when I did that the mirror flipped up and down. This was repeated and when I let go the lever it stayed at the bottom. I seem to have fixed it finally and I have a working MZ-5 with a new brass gear on the motor.
Now all I have to fix is the broken flash spring....

I'll try and redo the mount one again. I see it's not quite right (My tripod bracket for the 80-200 was in the car). Also I need to get rid of the reflections in the front one.

Here's the Super Takumar 105mm f/2.8 early version shots.
You can see the lens needs a bit of a clean inside and the aperture blades sometimes stick closed.

Is this the 105mm f/2.8 you still require? If so I can get some proper shots done. (Please excuse the phone shot)

Perhaps it's on the body inside the mount?

In Scotland a vest (UK type) can be called a "simmet".
