I have no luck shooting at anything higher than 400 ISO with my K10 D.
Does anybody know any adjustments in the camera so I can shoot at 800 ISO without so much noise.

I just installed Pentax Browser & Laboratory and I was wondering if its worth learning or should I try something else?
Is there a book to help me understand this thing?
Any advise would be helpful.

I have just installed the Pentax Browser and Labortory 3.
Is it a good photo shop? or should I be using something else.
When I click on magnification, the window freezes everytime.
Computer says does not read this program.
Everything else work good. Just don't know what I am doing yet.
Instructions are a little breif to say the least.
Whats up guys?;)

I was looking at the DOF calculator and they ask for the sensor size, what is the sensor size on the K10D?

I have had some good luck producing a few nice DOF photos.
But I am still fuzzy on where to set my focus ring when its in manual.
I have been setting it at 1/3 the distance with some luck, but is that right all the time?
Some of my DOF shots will look out of focus.
Can someone help me out?

I had to get the kit lens (DA 18 - 55mm) back today or they would charge me for it.
I picked up the popular DA 16-45mm F4 ED AL.
I also bought the DA 50-200mm F4-5.6 hope this is a good lens as well.
I want a 100-400 or 500mm for wildlife but they are $1200.00 and thats alot more than I can afford right now.
Can you buy them used on line ?

I just bought a K10D and it came with the DA 18 - 55.
The guy at the store asked if I would like to have the new Pentax 18 to 250 instead.
Is the 18- 250 a better lens(sharper photos). I know there is a better reach.
Is there any other reasons why I should'nt by it?

Great photos and tips guys.
I am mainly using it for birds at the 300 end.
I have a K10 D, does the K100D take nicer shots in Jpeg or are they the same?

My guy at the camera store set it for me but I could have easily done it myself.
I am happy with the results, but is there anything else I can do to make my photos even sharper in Jpeg?

I have to agree with you on the sales side of things, Pentax is comming on really strong.
I live in a part of the world where wildlife photography is very popular.
The camara stores can't keep the K10D in stock. They finally gave me a demo yesterday.
In both stores, the top tech guys are now using this camera. Thats what they say anyway.
I myself have not seen my results yet. I was not given a USB cable with the loaner camera.
But I will let you all know soon.

I have just bought a Sigma 70 - 300mm F4 - 5.6 APO DG Macro lens.
I have not had a chance to use it yet, can anybody give me some ideas of what to expect from this lens?
I mainly take wildlife and family photos.
