I want to add my 2 cents about this... I myself am a large person, and I have some experience from both sides.
One of the most important things, if not THE most important - is to make your model feel comfortable. Never say a word about her size or weight, phrases like "you are quite large so..." are prohibited! Let her be herself, lef her smile and fool around a little, and let her forget about her weight and size.
Lit a fire in her eyes, and catch that fire with your camera, and believe me, she will be happy with the results!
As a little proof, I'll show you some pics I've made. This girl did not want to be a model, she is ashamed of her body but after she shoot she was completely happy, she shows these pics to everybody and wants me to shoot her more.

Long time I was not posting here... But I kept reading...
Well, sice I used to have GX-10 and swithced to Olympus, I'll throw in my 2 cents...
My personal opinion on thee systems you are choosing of...
Pentax: Great built weather sealed camera, that can accept huge park of legacy lenses, some of which are fantastic deals. K20 has a really nice sensor, really great image details with top lenses. Drawbacks as I see them - pentax lets you ONLY shoot RAW, JPEG performance is rather poor if you want really good results, that's extra time spent with the computer, color rendition is not very good (sorry, everyone here! ;) ). This can be corrected, but that's even more time.
Olympus: Great built weather sealed camera (E3) too. Very good quality of lenses, often the best or one of the best in lense's class. Tremendous JPEG engine, really no need to shoot RAW, gives you time to shoot instead of working with computer. Fantastic colors. Brawbacks: Old lenses can be used only in full manual, lack of primes, nothing in the lens lineup like Pentax's Limiteds. Noisy at higher ISO, E3 is nice till ISO400, can be used at ISO800, everything above requires cleaning.
SONY: The main advantage of SONY as I see it - nice distribution net, those cameras, flash units, lenses are available everywhere... BUT lenses are not that sharp OR very costy, no weatherproof lenses as far as I know. VERY agressive noise reduction, not very nice colors. Honestly I don't see any reason to buy a SONY camera...
And the last - IS. I don't know what IS systems is bult in K20, but E3's IS is surely much more powerful then K10's (GX-10). E3's IS gives you like 4-5 stops of light at FR up to like 150-200mm...

I am sure I won't forget and won't leave this forum, it's one of the best i've seen.
BTW strange thing... There are three photo systems, which, typically don't turn their users into crazy fanatics. They are Pentax, Olympus and Fuji. Other system users are ready to torn into peices everyone, who passes to another system, and will NEVER say something like "yes, maybe mine system is not the best for you".
Haha not the impossible thing, by the way, really. I still have not seen K20 in action in my own hands :)

Thanks everyone for kind words :) Actually I was not expecting that no negative posts will follow mine, that only proves that this forum is incredible place to stay!
Well, when it will eventually become available, and it's price will drop to normal level, I'll try one for sure. We have a terrible situation with Pentax distribution here in Russia. I think I'll be able to actually see a K20 in May, and that's the best expectation.
Well... K10 is built like a tank, I cannot say that about E510 unfortunately. But as a compensation for this - it's like twice lighter. This actually does not matters really for me. The caps of Oly (memcards cap, battery cap) look fragile, they REALLY could make them better.
The ergonomics itself is very good. Tons of settings accessible with one-button press, and even more with large and detailed on-screen info table. Even thigs like Sharpenss, Saturation, etc. can be accessed VERY fast. E-510, unlike K10, has only one control wheel. So when I got to manual settings, I discovered that that wheel contols the exposure. I usually don't read the manuals :) So i just thought, how it WOULD be comfortable to change aperture with only one wheel available? I tried what came to my mind, and guess what? It worked! That was very pleasing, a really well thought out interface.
Generally it's more versatile then K10's, more changes can be made very fast. But as for really often changed parameters - it's like K10's interface, very similar feel.
One thing that really is better in 510 then in K10 is AE metering. Olympuses autoexposure is extremely accurate in different conditions, with or w/o flash, no matter. At least it is so with the kit lenses.
The E-510's AF is much more primitive then K10's. Only one cross-type point - the central one. And the other two (yes, ONLY 3 points) are horizontal. I usually use central one, so it's not an issue for me, but not for everyone perhaps. AF works much like K10's - if it says it's locked, you get a sharp image. If it's unsure, it does not lock. Same flash strobbing in dark conditions. As for AF speed, I did not feel any difference.
The VF of OLY is really small. This could be a big issue for a person wearing glasses. But it's very bright (they had dim ones in previous cameras). Somehow the colors in OLY's AF seem more natural then in K10's, no idea why.

Oni, that's a resized picture of course. 10MP is 10MP, no matter what system is it, the pixel count is nearly the same :)

People, I must admit, you can call me a traitor now.
I've changed the system. Now I am not a Pentaxian anymore, I am Olympusian. While getting my first DSLR I had a really really hard choise between GX-10 and E-510. That time I decided in a favor of GX-10. After all, lower noises, better final possible picture, and all people around yelling "K10 is a semi-pro for a very good price" made me decide.
Yet... On Sain't Patrick's Day I've managed to shoot 30-40 minutes with an Olympus E-510. And then I saw the results. And, frankly speaking, my lazy soul fell in love with that camera... Yes, the results were SOMEWHAT worse, then the final results from my GX-10, which was with me as always. But still, pictures from Oly E-510 were in-camera JPEGs with default settings, while mine took alot of time for PP.
And the E-510 ergonomics is above all expectations. Everything is 1-2 clicks away, very nice, even without second wheel, which I became to be used of.
So I sold my GX-10 and got E-510 Double Kit... Or course, I used it just a bit, but still I can say already, that pictures from it require almost no PP. Extremely usable pics from camera directly, which is VERY appealing to me...
What I really will miss, is this community. Seems like Oly has no such great place to share information. I want to say THANK YOU everyone in this forum, this is a great place and a great community to live in!
As a gift... A picture of a rose, which grows in my house, made with my new camera. In-camera JPEG, internal flash, kit lens, no PP except for resizing.

Well, I could not expect anything else from RiceHigh. Alot of words and no pictures.
I would not listen to even a single word of a person, who never showed any real world (i.e. not tests) pictures.
So well, let him speak... And please, don't argue with him, this is all he actually wants.

420 is not a very interesting camera for me, since it has no SR system. But they showed some interesting innovations. they promice that the color rendition will be very E3-like, which I find one of the best ever, they say they'll have greater DR, and their fully functional LiveView is awesome!
What I really want to read about is their E-520 camera, which, I am sure, will be announced very very soon.
Anyway, looking forward to see image samples from 420.

First of all, it's not OIS, it's OPS. Mega OIS is Panasonic's in-lens shake reduction system, while GX-10 and 20 are labeled OPS :)
As far as I know, SR = OPS, they at least look totally identical. I mean I've seen both matrixes in a matrix-cleaning mode, and they looked exactly the same, including their surroundings. So I guess these systems are actually both Pentax's SR.

I've heard alot about chep pentamirrors and more expencive and nice pentaprizms. I know what exactly those things are doing, but what is the difference for an end-user? Why Pentaprizm is better then pentamirror? Does anyone knows it?

Well, it's the same camera. And Samsung has no it's own DSLR production lines. So, as GX-10 is identical to K10, GX-20 is identical to K20. Well, nearly identical. Slightly different grip, different buttons, different JPEG algorythms (not sure better or worse). But it's still the same camera, manufacured on the same productions line.
So I guess the price and available support is what you should look at.
P.S. I am very happy with my GX-10, very good instance, no BF/FF at all.

The optical scheme of THIS lens (18-250) acts like this at close focus distances. On macro shots it's focal length is like 150mm only. The further the object gets from the lens, the closer to 250mm it's real focal length gets.
Not all tele lenses act this way, but this one does.
You can check it by shooting a really distant object with these two lenses.

According to PopPhoto tests, K20D is the first camera that can sence 2350 lines with it's sensor (lines per smaller sensor's side as I understand). That's not even impressive, that's fantastic.
Now, let's see what resolution the optical glass can give to us. The best of the best lenses give us same 2350 lines (check MTF charts if you don't believe me, on photozone.de).
That mens, that K20D has enogh resolution for even the best lenses ever made. Further increasing MP count is equal to resizing the picture in photoshop, and will not give ANY increase in picture quality.
On the other hand, K20's sensor utilizes only 40% of light. So increasing the size of individual light sensors, thus increasing the persentage of utilized light will allow to lower the noises, to make even higher sensetivity available, and to increase the sharpness even more. This is what I hope to see in the future, not 28MP pictures, 14Mp is more then enough for almost any use, including large-scale prints.

Wow very nice! Rarely a wedding photographer uses multiple lenses, and that pays off at a 100%! And the shots are not very traditional, REALLY something to remember for them!
