I've always avoided using flash, but am now needing to learn it.
I purchased a YN-560 for my k10d, and it won't fire in manual mode... am I missing a setting, or is an external flash unavailable in this mode? What modes will it fire in? I always use manual so this will be an even steeper learning curve if that's the case.

Thank you for the response. I ended up changing to factory defaults, and taking the battery out for about 30 seconds, and that fixed it... It was weird I checked EVERY possible setting, and it would only change on the 3rd picture.

I almost always have my camera on manual settings (aside from focus), and adjust the iso, f-stop & shutter speed as I'm shooting. The other day I was testing some new settings in the custom setting menu, and now my manual settings are changing like it's set to auto... HELP! Does anyone know how this setting is changing? Of course, I can't remember what menu items I changed.

I've been shooting Pentax since my grandfather introduced me to it in high school... my 2nd post on the forums... Am now drooling over upgrading to the K-5... I currently have the K10D.

Mine died yesterday in the middle of a shoot... still under warranty which is good. Does anyone know if you get a new warranty w/ the repaired/new lens... meaning is that repair/lens now good for another year?
