SDHC cards 4GB and up use the FAT 32 file format as SD cards under 4GB Use FAT 16 file format. That is why you need different reader for SDHC cards..

I hope so.. Maybe Hoya should make a bid for or merge with Fuji.. Pentax then would have it made.. Top glass from Hoya for it's lenes! Cutting edge sensors APS-C from fuji it would be an all Japaness imaging company. This could be possible since there is talk that fuji might get out of the very crowdered DSLR race.. And just do P&S camera's which Fuji Make the best going around! Pentax is letting go of P&S. HOYA PENTAX FUJI HD corp?

This is why HOYA PENTAX HD... Should setup there own HQ in Australia & NZ.. Samsung have HQ in Australia with excellent sales & service. You could see people down under. Buying pentax or other K mount lenses from BH photo & Adorma!! Buy The Very well priced K Mount Samsung body Locally .. For Warranty and service. The only reason I got the K10D local was for warranty.. As Dslr's are sensitive electronics (that can stop working for no reason)

Samsung hints at full-frame camera Friday 11th April 2008 Barney Britton and Chris Cheesman Samsung has hinted at plans to develop a full-frame CMOS imaging sensor for use in a 'professional' standard digital SLR.
So far, however, the sensor has only reached the design stage and it is far from clear whether it will become a reality.
We also understand that, late last year, Samsung Electronics set up a secret team within its HQ in Suwon to begin research on a professional DSLR.
Samsung has also made clear that its relationship with Pentax is ongoing.
The news emerged during an informal discussion with a high-ranking Samsung official at an industry event in Seoul, Korea, attended by AP technical writer Barney Britton.
Kyong-Kook Shin, assistant manager for Samsung's digital camera marketing planning group, suggested that the firm is actively pursuing development of a full-frame CMOS sensor intended for use in a professional camera.
Reporting on the 2 April meeting, Barney writes: 'Although there is no indication yet as to when it might arrive, it seems now that photographers can look forward to a professional full-frame DSLR with a Pentax lens mount at some point in the future.'
Samsung UK's office was not able to confirm the comments made by Kyong-Kook Shin.
Commercial director Robert King said: 'Samsung is committed to the DSLR market and we are continuing to invest in R&D in this important market sector. However, we are unable to provide further comment on any future product development at this time.'
Samsung's latest DSLR is the 14-million-pixel GX-20, which carries an APS-C size sensor.

If you have a broken foot for your AF 360FGZ. I have one for sale pulled off my faulty unit. Very easy to DIY as it is 4 small screws and plugs into the main board with a connector. I am asking $145.00 AUD for the part, plus neg. postage charges (very light so shouldn't be much). To buy a new flash unit here in Australia is $460.00 or more. To get the part, if you can! I would hate to guess how much? International members welcome. Pay pal preferred my e-bay ID is adrian52510 if you want to check my 100% feedback. |

I didn't Know about Harvey Norman! Thats why when I asked about pentax! The sales person just said canon is a better system and tried to sell me a canon Dslr. Thats a shame because the K100D super and now the K200D would do very well at Harvey Norman because that's were alot of Australias so called Mum & Dad shoppers go for to buy there Digital camera's. OK mainly Point and Shot camera's!But the entry level pentax's offer alot more value. for not much more than the price of a high end point and shot at Harvey Norman.

Why should you have to force when they should offer it even if they charge a small fee. When they just have one guy in australia doing pentax flashes. CRK are to slow with service! It's a joke. Send back stuff to the U.S. for repair may be quicker! Or not much longer considering the great U.S. price.

Back early in the year I phoned the local Pentax Australian dealers CR Kennedy in Adelaide. To see if there was a PH-RBH lens hood available in the country for the pentax DA 14mm. I gave then the correct details even the pentax part number 38738. I was told there was one left in Australia! I thought I had WON! Lotto. So I phoned my local camera store to order it in. They said I should have it buy the end of the week! During that time another member on this forum had a spare hood for sale. I explained my situation. I did not want to call the store and say I don't want it anymore. Or just not turn up and pick it up! I have been in retail. It's hard enough out there as it is. Harder when customers show no respect. The Hood turns up at the store. A 77mm SIGMA lens Hood. I think what Idiots. So I then email the member on this forum to get his Hood from the U.S. for under $50.00 AUD. He had just sold it 4 hours before. I was:mad: MAD I phoned CR Kennedy in Melbourne. I told them of my problem they put in a special order for me! 8 weeks latter and $90.00 I get my lens hood! The guy at the store even said that CR Kennedy had even denied talking to me! While in the CR Kennedy Adelaide Office today on a separate issue in regards to a flash repair. I told them what I had to go though because of there stuff up. I was polite! But I got no apology. CR Kennedy seem not to care about customer service. I don't care about warranty issues my gear will be Grey market Purple market whatever. As long as CR Kennedy doesn't get a cent of my money!
***Rant Over***

Hi there my name is Adrian I live in Mount barker in the the Adelaide Hills 30min drive from Adelaide CBD. 1st camera I had was a Ricoh Super 2 SLR 35mm. Banged up now still works though. I think it is the K MOUNT that is holding it together LOL. My 1st DSLR was the K100D. I have a thing for K mount cameras! Just ordered the K10D. Wife wasn't happy! Spending to much on camera gear! But I then said she can have the K100d if no one wants to buy it:). So we both can shot K mount style LOL. And not fight over the camera (just the lenes). As we both enjoy photography! Going out in the Adelaide Hills with our 4 year old daughter and with a pentex is so much fun:D
