Thanks for the kudos! And, let's continue with the woodpecker theme. Last summer we had both Downy and Hairy woodpeckers in our back yard. Interesting is that somehow I managed to keep the photos of them in the "correct" folder since they are almost identical - slight size difference and the Downy's bill is shorter.
Here's photos of both - Downy first.

Des, just to add my 2 cents worth - personally I prefer the color version, but for perhaps a different reason than usual. I don't really know anything about Wallaby's so seeing one in color gives me a better understanding as to what they actually look like. I do like both versions however! :)

Took me awhile to figure out what this guy was - turns out he's a White-breasted Nuthatch. He's a 'lifer' for me - never saw one in the 40+ years I lived in Central Texas. Had to move to WI to see one!

Got a couple of critters that I'm not too sure of what they are.
The first one 'could' be a White Legged Damselfly??
The second one 'might' be a real wasp, but I suspect it might be one of the wannabe flys???
Don't spare my feelings - tell be where I've gone wrong!! :)

Been kinda quiet on here lately, so thought I'd dig into some flower photos I've taken both last year and last week. These were actually taken with 3 different lenses - the Oly 12-100, Oly 75-300 and Oly 14-42.

Chased a couple of Dragonflies around the garden yesterday - since they typically return to the same perch all I had to do was wait (after I figured out where they'd return to). Taken with my M5iii and new to me Oly 12-100.

These were taken with my Oly M5iii and the 60mm macro lens.

I've been doing some testing with M5iii, Oly 100-400mm and my newly acquired Oly 1.4TC. if my math is correct, at 400mm on the lens this gives me 560mm. I also activated the in-camera digital TC for an additional 2x, giving me 1120mm - right???? And a 35mm equivalent of 2240mm - really?? That's incredible! (assuming my math is correct and I'm correctly understanding how this all works together)
Anyway, the attached photos were taken with the above combo, handheld! Also, with the exception of re-sizing for posting, absolutely NO post processing was applied. I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with Oly's optics!
