Here are some pictures from inside:
Afterwards we hiked to a small hill with another church ;)
Shot with K10D an Sigma 17-70 except the candle picutre. This one is shot with a FA35/2 @ f2

Thank you all guys for your nice comments.
I did recognize it some minutes later ;)
Sadly no. The WRC wont take place near zwickau. And unfortunally I'm not a press photographer ;) . I'll try to take shots of the next rally.
Here is one more shot. This time not taken on the dirt track. It was a city track with a dirt part (the airborne porsche is from that track). |

I just took some photos on a rallye here in Germany. These are just some trys, because I didn't get near enough to take any other lens than my 55-200.
I think I need a press accreditation to get nearer...
just give some comments please :)

It may be to late for some christmas pictures. But I just didn't have time to post them here. So i just make it good now ;)
Firstly we start on the christmas fair at my hometown:
Due to some frosty nights, we got a lot of frost and lakes are frozen. So there was time for some ice hockey ;)
Mostly shot with a Pentax K10D and a SMC-FA 50/1,4(all normal pics) or a Sigma 17-70/2,8-4,5(all wide angle pics). The ice hockey pictures were made with a Sigma 55-200.

I had a situation like that last year. But it was more serious.
Last year i was on vacation at the westbank. We went to a borderzone (between jordan and israel) to take some photos of that amazing sundown. There is a big canyon like the grand canyon (ok, a little bit smaller). Suddenly we had to stop due to a checkpoint. Unfortunally i took my camera to take some shots (we were not permited to go down into that valley). Suddenly a soldier ran towards me with his released M16  and shouted i should put my cam away. (note: it was a Fuji S6000). I'll never try to take photos at a checkpoint...i promise...

Pentax SMC DA Limited 70/2,4 + Pentax AF540FGZ
Pentax SMC DA Limited 70/2,4 + Pentax AF540FGZ ; he will be a pentaxian. Tomorrow he'll buy his k100Ds ;)
Pentax SMC DA 10-17/3,5-4,5

I liked number 1 and 9. In number one you showed something ordinary well composed. The quality is good, too. The last one is really cute. And everyone who "hunted" a squirrel for a photo knows, how difficult this is. To make the photo well then, too.

Thanks for your comments. I know what you mean, james. But this zebra didn't move of the fence. Waited a long time but it didn't move. I made such a shot three weeks before, with my old Fuji S5600. It's a bit noisy:
damned noise in this picture. Actually it was ISO800.
