Hello! Your pictures look nice :)
When I photograph my dogs I enjoy using a lens with a large aperture. I like the DA 35 f2.4 it is good value for the money. I do not own it but I think that you would enjoy the newer DA 50 f1.8, it is not super expensive and it would be nice for this sort of portrait work. Also if the dogs are good at sitting still (and from your pictures it looks like some of them are) you could save alot of money if your willing to sacrifice autofocus and score a nice used M or A 50mm f1.7 or f1.4 from an auction site or a used photo gear online store.
Good luck! :)
It totally is. Hopefully they are working on it lol

This is indeed good for pentax. It doesn't matter that alot of people don't like the format, dialogue, or the characters that they portray on DRTV. This webshow is a commercial for cameras and if your brand is not on it then you are doing something wrong. I do enjoy it and also enjoy the people who post comments at the bottom of every vid that say how they are stupid, awful and 'used to be so much better'. The people that complain that they are obnoxious and should not be taken seriously are playing perfectly into their hands as even a negative vote still goes into their favour. Do I think that it is a good idea to strip and paint a Leica m9 or set a Canon on fire? No in fact I think it's incredibly stupid. Am I going to 'tune' in and smile? You bet I am |

I'm in the same boat. The GR looks amazing and I may still buy it but seeing as how I have been in a wait and see/saving my money situation anyway I can wait a little longer :)

If they released a mx-1 styled aps-c fixed lens compact with a 35mm or 43mm lens on it and GR inspired customisation I'll buy as soon as its available.

This is my feeling exactly. I feel like I'm being overly paranoid by not downloading v1.12 but the v1.11 really blew me away as far as upgrades go :)

Now that would be a pretty badass kit. And a ballsy way to potentially garner some attention on the showroom floor :)

I think it looks pretty legit. The only issue for you I could see is the one you've mention in your own post about possible return situation. That would be up to you I guess :)
Now from personal experience I live in Toronto Canada and have bought things online from the United States on ebay and have not had a problem so hopefully your experience is similar!

Easy choice for film (or full frame digi) is FA 43mm limited.
Aps-c is a little more complicated. If we are talking about lenses I don't own then definitely the FA 31mm limited. For lenses I do own and love it would problably be the DA 21mm limited.
I think :)

I would do what I did this morning take my Super A and K7 along with the FA 43mm ltd, FA 77mm ltd and DA 21mm.
Go out and have a hell of a time shooting out on the street.
And continue to do that untill those lenses fall apart and there are no more replacement parts/used k mount cameras to buy and use :)

Finnaly some positive news!
Best of all its support for a product that's already released and not vaporware rumor-mongering lol

Agree 100% on this :)
He is obviously just a kid who scammed his way into some attention found it was the wrong kind and tried to backpeddal while attempting to put blame away from himself, while looking even more stupid in the proccess.
What a pathetic 15 minutes.

If ANY of this is true (and I am extremely skeptical) the above may be his way of indicating that the supposed full frame camera has the crop mode we are expecting and hoping for.
