Eye-Fi Card in K-50 is a handy feature!

With my k-50 and a 16gig eye-fi Mobi card, I'm able to transfer selected individual files to my iphone. I can also transfer select folders, so, for example, I edited all my kid's soccer pics as in-camera jpegs and then uploaded just that folder to my phone for my Zenfolio account. It makes for an easier process than either selecting each photo individually or doing a mass transfer of unsent images.

(My K-50 is storm trooper white, in case it helps with the transfer process!) ;-)

Thanks for the walk-through. It just wasn't working at first but a card reformat did the trick! Now I'm able to transfer just the selected images - a big plus over the massive image dump!

It does depend on your needs I suppose. Bring out-and/about or traveling makes the wireless transfer super convenient for getting images online. But it is definitely a crawl compared to direct transfer for a lot of images.

Hi seventysixersfan.

I'm wondering if you could describe the process for transferring single files? This feature was also a consideration in my K-50 purchase. But now that I have an eye-fi mobi card, I can't figure out how to transfer images individually. Instead, the camera still does a mass dump of everything I haven't transferred yet. What am I doing wrong? Any pointers? Thanks!

(PS Love the K-50 in every other way as a recent upgrade from a Kr).
