More 645D pics ,

Coming from Ye Olde 6x7 , Ebony 4x5 and Horseman 8x10 I too find this camera excellent ....... but

Finding some buttons , particularly scroll wheel a bit annoying . Also if you shoot longish ( a few seconds or more ) exposures it pays to shield the eyecup as it can underexpose quite a bit if left open to light

Hi All ,

Just received a 67 55mm from KEH and have found it to be soft up to f8 and after that good but not great .
My 645 75mm and 120 Macro are both noticeably better on 645D.

The base opinion is 55mm is one of the sharpest lens from Pentax , should I box it up and return it ?

Thanks
Jon

645D: Using Pentax flashes, off camera on stand, with PW?

It works in a very similar , nearly identical , way , just much simpler .

Press SD1 and scroll through options ( raw , jpeg , reserve ...............)
Press SD2 and scroll through options ( raw , jpeg , reserve...................)

This lets you write to one or both cards in a variety of formats .

Its in the Menu system as well but as you've found with formatting involves more steps .

Have'nt found a shortcut around formatting but would like to be able to format both cards at once .

Thanks Ole ,

Sounds promising , I've only used primes on the 67 body so will stick with them .
Burst rate should'nt be an issue as I guess it takes me more than a second to crank the film wind and air to air is more about timing than machine gunning frames

Hi All ,

I'm looking into the 645d , predominantly for aerials and air to air , and am wondering how easy it is to focus using manual lens ?

I found a thread where the poster used a 67 55mm with excellent results , but he queried the use of 67 55-100 as a focus shift may occurr at different focal lenghts .

Any further info greatly appreciated

Thanks
Jon
