I dont get it!!!Why should in Greece and Europe generally the price for a pentax k30 with 18-55 be more than 800USD-640Euros. Whats more we cant order form USA cause with the customw the camera comew even more expensive that it is hear......Unacceptable..

My name is Antonios and i am from Greece.....Up unteal March was an owner of a white Pentax k-r.(stolen)nevertheless i keep looking for a used one cause i just love Pentax..!!!!!!

I did report it to the police. I run a private office of engineering not in a company. I just report it to the Pentax Greece. They said they will forward it if they can in other european contrys cause most likely the camera is off the contry already.........;-(
Thanks a lot for the stolen camera webpage i will geave it a try......It was a beautifull white K-r dam.....

Hallo to everyone. LAst weak my camera was stolen from my office in Greece , Veroia. I would like to know wheather i could do somthing to report it at Pentax. If anyone oknows plz let me know

there is going to be a k-rII with the processor of k-5. From the Greek service center they said somewhere around January it will be released.Unfortunatelly there is not going to be a firmware update for the k-r we most have......

just got this answer from Pentax.......;-(
Thank you for contacting Pentax.
PENTAX Japan has not informed us of any upcoming firmware updates for the K-r model but they have offered a workaround if you are experiencing a problem with autofocus when shooting in low-intensity light. The recommendation from PENTAX Japan is to switch from the AWB Auto setting for white balance to the preset Tungsten setting.

Pentax Imaging Technical Support which means that they are not going to make a FW update for our K-r(my opiion)

I recently got a K-r and to be honest (being new in the hole photography experience) i can not see clearly this ff problem.Maybe posting some photos with comon subjects for all of us would be helpfull??????
