It is been 2 months now since I shoot in only films (35mm) extensively. I started developing my own slide films using Arista E-6 kit. It is not a hard process at all. However, one has to be very careful with the temperature of the developing chemicals, because slight decrease in temperature meaning some color shifts. :( But then for viewing at home purpose, it surely beats $10 processing fees per roll. Also, I buy my films used on eBay (Usually $3 per slide film 36 exp rolls)
I am thinking about selling some of my Nikon lenses to move to 645N.

And even you say $999 new, that was just Black Friday Special, and now it is back up to $1099, B&H sells it for $1199. So, this one is priced fairly well with still 4 months of warranty left.

I do not think K-5 goes to sell for $700 range now days. Especially, when it is just like a new camera except some fine scratches on the right bottom LCD screens.

I was going to trade for Nikon Wide Zooms like 16-35, 17-35, or 20-35 +/- Cash, but I don't think this is the right forum to ask for those lenses.
So I have not said anything. Nonetheless, if you have one of those 3 and interested in trading with my K-5, just PM me.:)

PM Replied ---------- Post added 12-22-11 at 12:16 PM ---------- just for the reminder, the scratch on the screen looks bad in the picture( i took it to look worst possible), in real life it is hard to see, you have to tilt the camera in certain angle to see it and when the screen is in use then you can't see at all. ---------- Post added 12-22-11 at 12:17 PM ---------- everything else looks like it just came off from the new box. ---------- Post added 12-22-11 at 03:56 PM ---------- Free CONUS Shipping

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Christmas Special #5 Used Pentax K-5 + 16GB SanDisk Extreme HD Asking Price
825 Item Location
Los Angeles (United States) Item Description
Christmas Special UPDATE #1 Posted some pictures.
UPDATE #2 Shutter count = 6768 as of 12/21/2011 checked via Check shutter count online - My Shutter Count.com
What I have for the sale this time is Pentax K-5 with all its original contents including the box and manual. I will also throw in the 16GB SanDisk Extreme HD(30MB/s) $30 value as well.
If you are looking at this item then you know what it is all about. I will say that this is the top 2 best crop sensor DSLR cameras out there (other one will be D7000 which also uses the same sensor ).
I bought this camera back in April 2011 ($1400 back then), and cherished it like a baby. Never dropped or hit any objects with it:D. However, the LCD screen has couple fine scratches on the bottom right corner. I will try to take a picture of it and post it later (No cracks or hard scratches, even the small scratches is hardly noticeable when screen is in use). I have the LCD screen protector on right after so no other scratches on the screen. No other scratches or marks to the camera beside the one I just mentioned. This camera was my baby and took great care of it.
I will try to post some pictures tomorrow after I shoot some during the day to display this fine beauty.
If you still haven't treat yourself a Christmas present yet then this is it!

Long story short, the eBay buyer was fraud, and was immediately contacted by the eBay. So even the item is shown as sold, it is not sold yet.
I will follow the Forum rules and will not list the eBay listing.
ITEM IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE!

YES! Everything about the camera excels in quality. You gotta hear the shutter or fiddle with buttons to really appreciate F6.
Thank you kindly.

Sorry to hear that. In the United States, I bought 30 Rolls of Professional Fuji Color 160S for $75 :D. It costs less than $2 to develop the films in any drugstores, Walmart, or Costco. I am gonna get the scanner so it will be free to scan the films as well ;). And these outputs will match cameras like Nikon D3X(unless you go more than 30X20 prints, then you should just go to Medium Format). So it is very economical compare to $8000 spend on D3X!
