Yes, the famous "Italian monkey" driving position...derived by the fact the cockpit was designed for the average height of an Italian in the late 50s/early 60s (I think under 165cm).
When they found out North Americans and North Europeans were taller they just made longer rails to push the seat more backward, but the distance between the pedals and the steering wheel remained the same.
So, as you liked it I think you need to see the front of the car with the ASI gold plate (the highest price from the Classic cars register):
Another gold plate here: |

In another Film SLR thread, another Pentaxian introduced their very nice Black SL.
>> Asahi Pentax Spotless (SL) <<
That prompted me to introduce my Black SL, today.
I do not use this SL as a 'shooter' since it is in such nice condition ( I have a silver SV & a silver ES II screw-mount Pentax I like to shutter-bug about with ).
When this SL arrived from Japan, I was glad to see the clip-on flash shoe had not dinged up the penta-prism :) which is common.
The photos below are from the sales ad.

Purdy. :) Sold my K1000 a couple years ago. For me was the opposite - was always picking up the other cameras. When I really feel like "slowing down" I grab a folder, not an SLR, even more recently, so the K1000 was a sad lonely guy. I'm sure he's not anymore. The gal I sold it to locally was a die-hard K1000 user - it was her 3rd. Cool thing is she ALSO bought her first MX from me as sort of an "upsale" after looking at it and hearing me go on about them. :)
Your shot, purdiness aside, reminds me I need to pick up a new cable release - mine's seen better days. Should get a nice braided version like yours there.

An impromptu shot of "The Usual Suspects" as it were sitting on the bookshelf. These have been by far the varsity string starter for 35mm shooting the past year.
"I love each of you equally but differently" as grandma always said.
**edit: Hey Colton.... . :D I sold that FA24-90mm locally here about 3 weeks ago. Paid for the entire MZ-S kit! :D Thanks!
