Here is one of mine.
You can see the more defined bokeh but you can't see the transition to the smoother bokeh.
I can see it in your photo as well though if you look for it.
The edge of the mirror and the droplets on the left side of the mirror on the window is kind of "busy" but if you look to the right it's much softer and smoother.
I don't mind the effect though, it's kind of neat.

From what i can tell it share almost the same hardware with the K5.
I believe the SD write speed came close to 20 to 25MB/s.
But card speed isn't that important,as far as i know an image would take this route: sensor > RAM > processing > RAM > SD.
So as long as the RAM isn't full SD speed won't limit it.

As far as i know when you're shooting RAW there are no benefits.
there is afterall no extended DR but these features are a compressing the DR so they fit in JEPG space better.
RAW capture all the sensor has to offer afterall.

It's important to note that the star-tracking is not yet supported with the K-01 and O-GPS1 but Pentax have said in an interview that it will be enabled with a future update.

Thats not good, not good at all.
Clean the contacts of the camera and lens mount if that does nothing then you need to contact Pentax... :(
You could try to install (new) firmware again, that will reset some settings and such but i won't hold yor hope up that that will make a differnce at all.

Have you set exposure bracketing on?
Also check if you use spot metering.

This a plus for HDR effex actually because you can also use photoshop to merge the images into a 32bit file and HDR effex makes it into 16 bit. So you've several options.

K30 would be a very good option as well and put the money you save in a better lens, that would yield better result then camera upgrade.

The SR in video mode is very different with the K30 and K-01
With the K5 they use the actual mechnical SR you also use when photographing, however with the K30 and K-01 they don't.
The SR used in video with those camera is software based, they record "full sensor" and the crop it a bit to and move the crop around the sensor. Just put the camera on a tripod if you don't believe me and compare the image you see with live-view when photographing or when you are in movie mode.
Anyway this the cause of the jelly effect with SR.

It's not the fear for moire but more of an question what matters for the end result.
From users here many say they only see the differnce when they fully zoom in and so it's quite easy to conclude that the extra sharpness has little to no effect to the end result for most users.
Now moire is different and something you can see in the end result most of the time.
So it's chosing between the lesser of both evil, and most of the time keeping the AA filter is simply more beneficial to the end result.
I can show you some images where moire ruined the photo, but i can not show you images where the little extra sharpness makes or brakes the photo.

That's what i mean, that isn't bokeh but circle of confusion.
Bokeh mostly is determent by the light distrubution inside the circle of confusion, that determent the soft or hard looking bokeh. Circle of confusion - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Here is a good website about bokeh and this is why i sad your bokeh will be different when you reverse the lens.
When you reverse the lens the optics are reversed so most likely the bokeh will also switch around, front bokeh becomes the back bokeh. About Bokeh |

The mirror obviously move around quite a bit off air when it moves, i think that makes the biggest difference.
It slaps the mirror and so dust move around the box and then the shutter moves.

Almost everything good.
Since all of them are from Pentax lenses DC is also for Pentax i believe and not for Sigma.
Anyway for Pentax a DC stands for Direct Current motor i believe, it means there is a little motor inside the lens for autofocusing.
SDM and HSM are also in the lens motor but they are different type of motors.
SDM use vibration and frication to create motion, DC is your standard electro motor and use a magnetic field.

Jim there are leds and leds ;)
This what standard led looks like for normal light.
As you can see a peak in the blue and little bit of other colours so it's not nice for colours when photographing or filming.
Leds for professional lighting for video and photography are often more balanced and have a wider spectrum of colours. Thats why you easily pay thousands of dollars sometime for such panels, it's the quality of the light.

I think we are but i'm going to write it down anyway for the completion.
What matters
- Magnification (lens) - How much the lens magnify the subject (and nothing more is to it)
- Aperture (lens) - lens opening
- pupil magnification (lens) - this one only really matters with close focusing. it's hard to explain but it's a kind of magnification that happens inside the lens itself. With normal lenses this value is 1 but with telephoto lenses, so lenses that are smaller in size then their focal length this value is smaller and with retro-focus lenses (wide angle) this value is larger. With wide angle you can really see the effect, you've this huge front element but the rear element is normal in size.
- Circle of Confusion (sensor size) - an image is made out of points, think about those highlight points you sometimes see in the background blur, your image is build up with them. CoC is the maximum size these can be to make it appear sharp at typical print and viewing distance. These points the lens make on an FF sensor or APS-C are the same size BUT you if you for example print the photo on poster size the those points need to be enlarged more with the APS-C sensor and as such the size of the points need to be smaller to appear acceptable sharp at that print compared to FF.
I hope i explained that good enough.
Now what top-quark is saying is to match the "print size" of the subject.
When you think about it, APS-C is enlarged more then FF, 1.5 times if my math is correct.
So that means you can lower the magnification of the lens as well. So if you need 1:2 with FF then you can use 1:3 for APS-C and that would increase the DOF with quite a bit
ps. Guus als je de uitleg in het Nederlands wil hebben is dat geen probleem. Hoe wel dit wel een technische verhaal is inplaats van praktische.
