Why arse about with a mobile phone, when you can buy a IR remote control for your Pentax on Ebay, for only a couple of pounds or so?
And it works perfectly!

So far I've tried out my Chinon 28mm on my KX,and have been most impressed!
Sharp and conrasty, and its given me an equivalent focal length of 42mm,ideal for general purposes, with a good depth of field.

Hi,I have been a keen photographer for 40 years, vowed not to go digital, but of course, once digital prices came down,I did!
I still have my Canon,Chinon, and Nikon SLRs,and,up in the loft,my enlarger, and have had since many digital cameras, starting with a 2MP canon A60,and being able to see the image you'd just taken, converted me to digital almost immediately!
I have contributed to the Fuji and Panasonic website, and various photography forums, and submitted various user reviews.
I currently own the great Fuji HS20EXR,the latest, and best, in a long line of Fuji and Panasonic "bridge" cameras I have owned, after previously selling my Canon D300,and then a Nikon D40,and now,I have just added to my collection with a almost new Pentax K-X,bought off Ebay, following some great reviews of its image quality at higher ISOs,plus I can use some of my old,but good, Pentax and Chinon K mount manual prime lenses.
I also have an excellent 10MP FX35 compact camera, ideal for slipping in the pocket, but great for snapshots.
I am retired now,:Dmarried, with two grown up children, and 4 grandchildren, and plenty of time to get the most out of my photography.
