If it breaks i'll get a new one. That doesn't really matter. I just want to see how far I can push it. How durable I can make it.

I'm hoping someone from pentax will see this post and relay it to the right people. I love how pentax cameras feel and operate. And I'd like to continue to support them..

I keep my camera with me by my side whenever i go out. Which is most of the time. You never know when the magic moment will hit..

I was out at a tattoo studio, camera slipped off my shoulder and hit the ground at a specific angle. It's a simple flaw. Some rubber added to certain points on the body would prevent this from happening in the future. Let's hope the next camera fixes this issue :)

Control wise the K10D is a dream to use. The viewfinder screen is too fragile though. Improvements could be made. The screen got cracked on the second day of usage.

Hey, if you are in sydney australia post a little message here.

I've spent the past few years networking and finding the hidden spots and talent in sydney. I know there are others trying to do the same. I've made a big headway. You don't have to worry about things like publishers, designers, stylists, models, locations or equipment. everything I have. I'll setup the shoots, you just turn up.

I want to make something special. sydney has so much potentional.

the only requirements are that you share the same core values as me

they are

being fair, having fun, and make some money

in that order

If you are happy with the feature set and price of the 16-50 just go out and buy it. If it doesn't work out you can always sell it.

Imagine all the photo opportunities you are missing right now by indecision!

I've just put in an order for a K10D, amazing price and does what I need for the moment. Pretty happy with my lens lineup right now. (I can cover 8 - 300mm with my glass).

About to order big on what counts the most, lighting gear! :), Monolights, lightmeter, diffusers etc. Stuff that will work on any system :)

4GB in 5min is 13.6MB/sec average. That is a pretty fast transfer speed reading from the camera. What speed/type of SD card do you have?

A quality USB 2.0 SD card reader will be faster than from camera usb.
