Does anyone know why image stabilization is turned off in wireless mode and is it possible to turn off the flash on the k-5 and make only the wireless flash flash? It works in slave but both flashes flash. Thanks!

Thanks! I might just get the 60-250 mm. I have a metz blitz 58 AF-2 too. In wireless mode the image stabilization is disabled is this normal? Also is it possible to make the flash on the k-5 control the metz 58 to flash only, i.e. only the metz 58 is flashing? Thanks.

I was thinking of soccer and perhaps wildlife. I am in NYC so I'll probably use the zoom for places I can't reach. How well do teleconverters work? Any input on the Sigma 100-300 F/4? Thanks for the help guys.

So far I have all of these things for the k-5, I just got the K-5 recently so I am still new. The furthest zoom I have is the 50-135. I would like to get a little more zoom perhaps for sports etc. I have been looking into the Sigma 70-200 mm, Pentax DA* 200 mm prime and DA* 300 mm prime but I am not sure of what to get. Any ideas? Thanks.
FA 31 mm, FA 77 mm, FA 43 mm, DA * 50-135, tamron 90 mm macro, sigma 8-16 mm fish eye, tamron 17-50 mm, regular k-5 18-55 mm kit lens.

Hey there. I read some reviews on your suggestion. I will get the tamron 90 mm then. Thanks for the help. What does the raynox adapter do? I have checked it out but I haven't really found a description of what it does. Cheers.

I have the K-5 with Tamron 17-50, Pentax DA 50-135 and a Sigma 8-16 incoming. I am looking for a macro lens and have narrowed it down to the 35mm or 100mm DFA WR Pentax macro lens. Any ideas what I should choose since I have a few lenses already? Thanks.

Hey there. Just got my k-5 and a few lenses cause I heard great things about this camera. I am in college and want to learn more about photography. I don't have a creative side in me. I am a computer programmer and trying to do new things. I also got the camera partly because I moved to NYC. Have a nice day all and looking forward to meeting you guys.
