I am thinking the ideal situation is shooting raw /jpeg and not allowing ALL but only some of the pics to get to them

I have a 10x30 foot studio space, it works great BUT sometimes folks stand over me when I shoot, this way I am thinking they can stand aside and see what I see, still trying to justify it though...

So it will only transfer to one device or can you pick and choose which photos go over to it? I have a desktop in my studio as well as a stand coming for the Ipad...
I like to show clients the pics but would want them saved to the desktop

I hate to make the purchase and find out it doesn't work. I already own 2- battery packs that they swore up and down worked with my pentax flash, sent the adapters and yea, nope!

I am considering purchasing the Eye Fi Pro X2 for my Pentax K5 and Ipad for the studio, I have done some reading on the card itself and understand its basics however in the articles I am reading it lists compatible camera have to be SDHC ready. However the cameras listed in the articles don't include Pentax at all. Anyone have any information on this?? Thanks in Advance. Caroline

My new body has no issues at all. If it is the second rate battery that causes the freezing up that is easily fixable but the shutter sticking open, thats another story

I don't think the repair company will replace the camera but you might have something there with the replacement battery thing. I do have several third party batteries but they are not low when the shutter goes haywire. But I will pay closer attention. I am sure they will "fix" the issue when I send it in, it just upsets me that I sent it in twice while under warranty for the same thing and they sent it back saying it was fine, now its out of warranty and its going to cost I'm sure to repair it...

I ordered a new one from Amazon, who has an excellent return policy. The day after I ordered it, it shipped, it was also cheaper than my normal Adorama (also on Passover holiday). I got the new body in 4 days and it works awesome, I also noticed no slop in the shutter button like the other one had and I didn't notice until now.... Contacted Pentax and they suggest resending it in and explaining the issue (done this twice already while it was under warranty and it preformed well for them...) so I'm really hesitate to send it to them again, because this time it will cost me and I feel like the pesty neighbor in this one.... advice???

it does not come back unless I shut it off and smack the bottom with my hand, that seems to "unfreeze" it. It is also has the shutter itself sticking open, although when I look at the picture, its fine... that is something I find very weird. I called Pentax and they suggest sending it in again and "insisting" on the issue...

I have this same issue, went into pentax repair twice, first time the firmware was upgraded, but the camera did it, out of the box when it came back from Pentax the first time. It just went out of warranty, being the diehard Pentaxian I am, I just ordered another one. Its been in twice and they say it doesn't do it for them... Hoping the new body is better....

Good morning all! In 1985 I shot with a Pentax K1000 and moved up to the ME-Super shortly after that. I do have all my old lens, including an awesome 135mm that needs some repair! I shoot in all totally manual and love my cameras response to my creativeness! Whats everyone else shooting with???

Hello! I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Been shooting with Pentax since 1985 and have stuck with it because of the consistency of the pics I get with it. Moved up to the K5 a few months back and love love love it! Shoot mostly newborns/children and weddings. Hope to learn more from all of you!
