Hello Everyone - I have an istDL for several years now. I am a crappy photo taker but trying to get better. My kids are in sports such as soccer, lacrosse and football. I am trying to take pictures of them on the field with the da 18-55 lense. I am able to take mediocre pictures with the lense at close ranges but not so good far away. I am thinking of buying a DA L 55-300. I know this is going to sound stupid but is this lense compatible with the istDL body??? I found this site today and it is great!!!! It is wonderful to find so much knowledge and look at so many talented photographers pictures. Please don't stop.
