I had a similar experience moving to Olympus m4/3 and then back to Pentax. Yes, the m4/3 system was excellent; the technology and magic they packed into that little body were mind-blowing. In the end, it just didn’t have the soul Pentax does. The experience was just too absolute and clinical. After buying another k1 + fa* 24, I returned to my happy place. My images had this beauty that drew you into the story; the colors and tones returned to that SMC pallet. Things were that right amount of sharp while still holding to a natural look.
I am glad you are putting that legacy glass to use. It deserves to continue making great images. Happy shooting!

Don’t ignore the da21 limited due to its f3.2 aperture. I think it’s a perfect companion for an apsc body

What is the advantage of a RAW file from a camera like this? Exposure latitude I would assume?
I am so tempted by a BnW only image machine, but wonder how much post is really required or can be avoided
