You could take your SD card out and put it in in a card reader then it connect to your device with an OTG cable. Your device will see it as another drive. You may need an app for the files if their not Jpeg.

A couple of months ago I was at a secluded woodland waterfall about 30 miles from where I live. I was the only one with a dslr and a tripod. A man came along and put his tripod next to me. What camera did he have, a K-1 same as me except his was a limited edition.
A couple of weeks ago a I was at an event taking pics when one of the guest asked what camera I had. She had never heard of Pentax - she owned a Canon. I was speechless.

Try some "Blue Stuff " its a modelling compound that can be moulded and sets hard, then paint it. ---------- Post added 04-13-18 at 02:03 PM ---------- Or it might be called "Green Stuff"

I have only played with the wheel to see how it works, I don't find it that useful. It would have been better if the small lcd could show the changes you are making for a short while then revert to its normal screen. As it is you have to be looking into the viewfinder to see some changes and the info screen for others and if your looking at the info screen you might as well do your changes there.

I replied to their email querying their 20 000 pixel figure, you guys could be right about it being 20k X 20k. I have also sent them the same panorama but as a TIFF image created by Microsoft ICE and will see what they say. It could well be the Adobe DNG file type

I have been trying to open a very large DNG file using PSP. Its 6 images taken with a K-1 stitched together in LR6 to form a panorama. PSP won' open it. However the same 6 images stitched together using Microsoft ICE to produce an equally large file but a TIFF image can be opened.Their tech confirmed the problem and have a copy of the DNG file. They escalated it to the next level'. The versions I have used are PSP X9 and PSP 2018.
The latest news is and I quote from their email "Sorry, but please note that PaintShop Pro can only open file s up to 20,000 pixels. This is most likely the reason why your file cannot be opened."
It does not explain why it works with a TIFF file and 20,000 pixels seems ridiculously low. K-1 is 36 megapixels. what do you think, should I give up or get back to them again.

My recollection is the Metz 64 AF gets its higher guide no. by being able to zoom the head further. However this may not be useful as I think pentax cameras may not be able to pass on the lens zoom information beyond a certain limit and so restricts the flash head zoom performance.
Perhaps someone out there with more knowledge could that.

Make sure the the front element is tight, I have had an old Tamron 80-210 where it was loose and caused a similar problem

I have used Haida screw in filters. They are reasonably priced and good quality. Get the slim ones and you can use 2 filters at the same time.

This happened to me only once on a K-3 when I had a Sigma 10-20 attached and I had to remove the battery to stop it. It was just before the new firmware came out to reduce/stop it.

I have just backed up all my jpegs that I have sent to Flickr onto a blu ray disk. Whilst they are about 25G capacity and would not be enough to back all my DNG files at least I have a permanent copy of my best images

I would try another card and or card reader ---------- Post added 02-27-17 at 03:02 PM ---------- I would also make sure you can see the file on the sd card, it should not be in a folder.

I think people have to be careful when using rocket blowers as they can push the dust into inaccessible places. I have a K5 with a dirt/dust in the viewfinder path which I cant get at.

I recently took some pictures at a charity boxing event in Plymouth that my stepson was taking part in. Anyway it was only after looking at the images on my computer I realised the official photographer was using a Pentax K-3.
