The 135 is surprisingly easier to get focused in. Some nice shots of horseback riding and kids outside. Not sure why I have so much more trouble with the wide-angle and the 50, but I will master it....

Never tried it with Live view. I still like the ol viewfinder. I did take some good pictures with nice bokeh of my daughter, but the pup pictures left a lot to be desired :(

2 Pentax, a SMC 50mm F1.2, and 28mm F2.8 and a Sears 135 F2.8. I like the pictures from all of these, but need to work on getting them focused and the picture taken. I think a little practice will help.

I will buy lens only if the quality/value/price are acceptable. Brand name plays very little into my buying decisions.

I descend from a family of Pentax camera owners- both film and digital, and I'm exploring the options available on my Pentax DSLR including the use of Dad's old manuel lens. BTW, I now have possession of the camera bag, camera & lenses that we were never allowed to touch!!! Take that little brother :D!
