hi steve thanks for the reply , i'm from darlington which i don,t think is far away i've just updated to a k5 from a samsung gx10 of which is a lot of camera packed in a small bundle, but the k5 is a lot more but that is progress hey!as you might guess the names geoff and pleased to meet you bye for now,

i think dpi subject is ie:- 72 dpi per image is default on some cameras and is used univesaly for viewing and 200, 300, whatever dpi converted image size is used for printing depending on size of print and quality of print

:)hi everyone out there; my name is geoff, from the uk! i'm not braging, but that's how it is, i've just joined the pentax forum ! so please bear with me untill i get my feet , photography is a loved hobby of mine of which i have participated in for quite a few years now,and find it fun and also brings a lot of happines to other people too , it also gives peope chance to look back on life which can be quite rare sometimes; enough said and thanks for looking in , and Hi again, bye for now Geoff
