Hi
I was out yesterday and shooting with theK5 and Pnetax D* lenses across some water with a lot of light reflection. The camera locked up and wouldn't shoot. I remoived the battery and replaced and still the same problem.
I tuned the camera to a darker sceneand i fired, but later on locked up again.
It was on aperture mode with the ISO set manually and autofocus on automatic single shot.
When it locked up, the flash icon ( the staggered arrow) was flashing in the top display.
Evetually everything started working again on normal lit scenes.
Can anyone help please; not sure if I have a camera fault.
Thanks
David

Great to already be a part of the forum. Still a bit daunted by the K5 set-up menus so taking my time over the weekend to get this done.
I've kept all of the old lenses so once I've got used to these new ones, no doubt I'll try a couple on the camera and see how things go.
It's great to see responses so sonn, so many thanks for your welcome. I'll keep in touch.

Hi
Just thought I'd link in and introduce myself to established members and try and learn form your experiences.
Bought my first Pentax digital (K5) last week after many happy years with a Pentax LX with 35mm.
I look forward to reading your offerings and maybe asking for help/advice.
