I have the same 28mm 3.5 lens I picked up a few years ago to use with K-5. After awhile I realized I wasn’t getting infinity. There was an adjust I did using some guidance posted in another thread on this forum .....wasn’t difficult and seemed to improve it. I can’t recall the exact steps offhand, but it involved removing the outer ring and repositions the focus stop.

+1 for Negative Lab Pro. I've been demo'ing it for the last week or 2 as an LR plugin ..... very impressed with the quality and speed of conversion results vs. manual PP on 35mm negatives and slides.

Thanks for the welcome....I agree - the K100D is still solid even today. The AF speed can be a little frustrating, but it's also been fun to play and experiment to see how much I can push the camera to deliver. It still can surprise - just got recently got out a beautiful 8x10 family portrait using my FA 50mm.

Hi all! Finally just joined the forum....been an avid reader for 2 or 3 years now. Thanks to all for the great information and advice - this site is a huge asset to the Pentax community.
Been a longtime Pentax guy - started as a kid with a used K1000 in the late 80's, then moved to a ZX-M and currently still shooting with my K100D for the last 4 or 5 years (though I'm stuffing the cookie jar in hopes of a K5!)
