Honestly. Most of the time I just to frequency separation, dodge and burn, and maybe curves. I get even tones, and define shadows. Of course, it helps to get the lighting right in camera so that you have less work in post processing.

I love the tamron, never used the sigma, or pentax. I do own the da* 50-135, and I love it too. I use the tamron more often because of the extra reach, and the autofocus is more reliable (My 50-135 has sdm issues sometimes). The IQ is really good, and I get compatible results with both.

closer softbox. sometimes it happens anyway. I just use frequency separation in retouch. ot does an amazing job

100 feet was doable. i kept at around 60 to be on the safe side

I'm getting it eventually. I still haven't found anything I can't do with my k5, but I would love to have better autofocus, and bigger files which the k1 will provide. I know the k3 will do this for me too, but I rather go full frame because of all my manual lenses

The last time I checked Australia it's just plain expensive. Taxes, Housing, food, electronics. Everything is more expensive over there. When the PS4 came out, wasn't it like $100 dollars more, over in Australia. The d750 is cheaper because is an older body, and its not selling as well as nikon wants it to. It's as simple as that.

Honestly, learn to shoot manual, you will be better off in the end. Also, don't be afraid of high ISO. I've been shooting weddings and I have used ISO 3200 without having problems. I just clean up the noise in Photoshop. Or get a cheap hot shoe flash and bounce it of the walls. If you don't have Photoshop, you could always get paint shop pro.

I agree with MSL, but I wouldn't crop all the lights, I would just crop the right side

I rented it for a wedding. It's an amazing lens overall. all my pictures came out beautiful. i bought the pentax DA* 50-135mm and while I love that lens, I think the tamron had a very small edge because of AF. the pentax hunts a lot on dark situations, while the tamron is quite snappy in comparison.

The one with the silhouette of the guy kissing the lady's belly is amazing. love that photo, and also the one with the reflection in the mirror. very nice.
