in my memory,prime II is a 12-bit engine, but in the pentax office website, it says the raw file of k-5 is 14 bits
this is K-5 specification in official website
How the 12-bit prime II image engine get 14-bit raw file?:confused:

merry Christmas!
i' m a newbie in shooting, just get a k200d dslr and da 35/2.4 a couple of days before, and i like this camera.
i'm trying to learn hot to use this camera,and hope to take good pictures.
there are so many techniques and skills i could not understand,i think this forum is the right place for me.
