it is not pretty looking, i would say it is rather balance. i'd say we judge it by performance and not by looks. maybe pentax designed it by purpose, to have a very highly performing machine with simpler appearance. then we'll find out later after it was reviewed.

Hi,
Does anyone had or has problems with the electronic film advance of the Pentax 645NII ?
Today i made 3 pictures with no apparent problem. I was using mirrorlock up mode and when i first depressed the cable release, the mirror went up, but when i depressed the second time to take the "real" picture...nothing happens! The shutter didn't release and of course i didn't hear the advancing of the film. After trying some issues (gettin off; change the mirrorlok up position...) nothing happened. When i turned the camera 180º to take batteries off...then sudenlly the film advanced! I went for a 5 shot using the mirrorlock up and it did the same problem. Only when i turned the camera 180º i heard the the shot and respective film advanccane. The 6 shot i used the single mode and when i depressed i heard (what appeared to me) the photo been taken, but the film didn't avanced...I turned again the camera 180º and heard the film advancing!
The batteries are new (only made 1 roll with them)
Does anyone had any similar experience? What's the problem?
Thank you in advance

Hi,
Does anyone have this set up? Pentax 645 body with Hasselblad lenses via an adapter ring? My doubts are in the focus. Can i use hyperfocal focus on the lens like i would normally? Are the scale reads on the lenses true, or i have to adjust anything? If yes, what do i have to adjust?
Or more simple, using an 50mm hasselblad lense on the pentax 645,if i choose F/22 and i choose the hyperfocal, the reading on the lense says that i would get everything in focus between 1,2 meters and infinity. Is this true using an Pentax 645 with adapter?
Thank you very much

Hello
I don't know how will it trigger the flash if there isn't anything to be attached to my cam
I mean I will use the vivitar 285HV as off cam flash and use the Cactus V5 to trigger it wirelessly but how will it know when to fire the flash?
btw is the package of cactus v5 the one with 2 transrecievers can be used for (2) units of vivitar 285hv or I have to buy another package of cactus v5?
thanks million
