fixing a 35mm 2.8

Hi

ive got a 35mm 2.8 A lens. The rear mount of the lens that secures it to the camera isnt working. Ive tried replacing it with a rear mount off a 50mm f2 A lens, and the lens does attach to the camera and still works like and A lens but the aperture readings are all off. the camera reads f2 when the lens is on f2.8.

Ok so the point is I cant afford to get someone else to fix it and I cant find a rear lens mount for a A lens 2.8. So does anyone know if i can use a rear lens mount from a f2.8 M lens?

Will it still perform like an A lens

sorry if iv over complicated things :)

Hey everyone

Ive found a sigma 18-35mm, I want a landscape lens. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this?

I cant find any reviews in pentax forums, would anyone recommed it, or not?

Any extras details too would be great like sharpness, CA, the build, the autofocus

Thanks all

is it worth getting this 28mm in this condition

hello,

im looking to get a SMC A 28mm 2.8, iv found one but the rear lens coating is very slightly blemished, looks like a series of faint/light scratches. Barely noticeable to the naked eye, unless you happen to catch them when holding up the lens to a bright light.

will this affect image quality?

do you guys think its worth getting?

iv made my mind up that i want this type of lens, just interested in your opinions on this specific one.

thanks all

not sure if this is the right place to put this thread but nevermind

just recently got a 50mm 1.2 :0, iv also got a 50 fa 1.4, 35mm 2.8 and 28mm 2.8

i was reading this article on choosing the correct sized hood and was wondering which hoods i need

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-lens-articles/47414-about-lens-hoods-important.html

I intend on using all these lens on full frame format, ME super, and my DSLR, on any recomdations on which hoods to get?

are there any i could use over several lens, like the 50mm on film would be simular to the 35mm on croped sensor so would i only need one hood?

any hood recomdations would be helpful, i dont mind if you even recomend 2 hoods for each lens :)

thanks

Let’s dream: Pentax 24 Megapixel Full Frame camera coming in march 2013? | Mirrorless Rumors

does that mean this was only a rumour?
It would be different

Does anyone know if pentax have any future intentions of making a viewfider for the k 01, just an accessory that can be put on to the hotshoe?

Im no expert but how much would it cost, time and money, to make a viewfinder that could be easily attached and removed, and had the same view as the LCD screen?

Just so one could use manual and autofocus lenses from the comfort of a viewfinder.

Iv seen a few subsitutes but nothing amazing

any info appreciated

Hello,

Im getting some manually focusing lense soon, some of the following, 50, 35, 28mm. Just wondering if anyone had any tips for manually focusing on a kr?

Ive found the aids in the camera like the beep focus thing, but for quick focusing would it help if I got a split image focusing screen?

Any tips appreciated, thanks
