I've had my KR for about 2 months, and noticed this for the first time last weekend with my M50 1.4. Image in view finder slips out of focus immediately after stopping down. Remedied by tripping the shutter, which caused an unusual double click, like the sound of taking a picture in LV. To me it seemed to be something to do with the position of the mirror. It seemed to stop doing it after I changed the switch on the camera from AF to MF, but this may be coincidence. My battery was getting a bit low, and it was a bit chilly at the time. Renegat - Would be interested to know what the service people say to you.

AFAIK the focus screens from the MX & LX are the same size as each other. I think that they are not the same size as the screens for MZ/ZX cameras. I have an MZ-5n. I put the (split prism) screen from an MZ-M (aka ZX-M) in it with no trouble, so I can tell you for sure that that one fits. I'm not sure about the MX/LX screens, but I suspect they may not fit without modification.
Some have suggested that putting a split prism in the MZ 5 might affect spot metering, but I haven't really noticed this.

I've pretty much taken no picutres for 2 or 3 years, until I found my old camera a few weeks ago in the cupboard. I've always liked B+W a lot. Here a couple of pictures I've just got back. Attachment 112840
