I recently bought a used winder me 11 and it while it tested out OK, i.e., power's OK, but following connection to my program plus pentax, a whirling sound results and the winder will not fire or transport the film; inserted new batteries and still made no difference.
any ideas?

thanks for the advice...yes, although "only $100" plus shipping; seller said he would take it back but it would be a waste of time and money messing with it.

I'm interested in a used pentax 645 but the batteries leak am wondering what is takes to clean the compartment, also, the insert that might have been affeced.
