Thanks. I've taken some daytime shots that are pretty good too. The use for a Christmas card has come up as well. Thanks again!

This is a view outside my window at night. It is cold out there, snow on the ground, dark, and not quite winter yet. This picture is a quick crop and recompression for the forum.
Currently I shoot with the K-3II, and my Pixel 3.
The K-70 would be great because of its articulating screen. I used to love that about my Canon Powershots, you could easily get ground level views in photos. Since upgrading to Pentax DSLRs about 10 years ago this is much harder. It would be great to easily transition back into that. It would also be nice when travelling, not having to worry about the back screen getting scratched or damaged because you can store it away.
Those ground level shots is what I would be able to do with a K-70 that I can't easily do with my current setup.

Just a simple crop. There are so many dandelions around right now the ground is yellow in spots. It is officially spring here.

Beautiful photos. Nice technique merging them too. Maybe one day I'll be inspired and if I get something half that good I'll be happy.

Christmas decorations on the tree always seem like good subjects. Nice shot.

I used to ride it as a kid. I saw it broke down and decided to take some pictures of it. This was in 2012, I don't know if it is around anymore.

I am slightly fascinated by clouds, and like that from my own front porch I can get some good sunset pictures. This one taken last night with my K-5 IIs. Enjoy.

Hope you enjoy it! I ordered mine before Thanksgiving, got it in and the rear e-dial did not function. I did nothing else with it (not even take a picture) but it went back to the retailer and the replacement should be here tomorrow.

10 years of digital photography and I've deleted less than 0.1% of those pictures. Even testing shots I keep for what ever reason. So I have a lot to learn from. :)

Thanks. I will try to get some stuff up later once I've read through the rules and I comprehend them.

I'll get some of my work up eventually. I don't take as many pictures as I dream I do, so there are only a few good ones every now and again.

Thanks RioRico. Kenafein, I hope you just mean dangerous because it could make a collector out of someone. I've already started a small one.

Hello all. I'm a new member to the forum, though I have enjoyed looking through the various reviews before. I cut my teeth so to say on my dad's Spotmatic, and last Christmas bought both my wife and I K-x's. She has enjoyed hers greatly, branching out into taking pictures for others and might start shadowing a professional. So I've now bought her a K-5 while they are on sale. Can't wait until she gets it and can start playing with it. Now I want a bigger camera too. :)

Hope you enjoy your K-x! I have enjoyed mine. I too stuck with Pentax because it is what I learned with, my dad's old Spotmatic.
