This 2 videos were also filmed by me while I was in NY. They are not on my channel but I gave them to my cousin to upload since is his 10g Tank. Let me know what you guys think of it. Also I was suppose to make a 3rd video on the tank with LED on only. For some reason looking through the Pentax Live it made the tank look all black and white when I was trying to film the tank on Blue LED anyone know why? You Tube |

Hey what's up guys well I have been enjoying my KX so far, which I bought from a great member of this forum. I have also been learning more about the KX and again I am very happy to have gone with Pentax. I recall reading somewhere for videos a DSLR is not great especially the KX. I have noticed the quality seems to sucks when the event you are filming seems to be kind of dark with less light. I am assuming this is where the KX struggles in focusing. Keep in mind I am still learning this whole DSLR hobby. Is there is a way or perhaps a trick where is possible to make the video a lot better in dark situations? Here is a video of a Salt water store in Manhattan, I was in NY for my birthday and New Year. I am kinda disappointed because I filmed too quick we were about to leave. But there were certain situations where I had a difficulties trying to focus or it was too dark. Most of this tanks had T5 lights and a couple of them had LED.
Let me know what you guys think of the video and I apologize for the quality and you might want to lower your volume or muted lol :D You Tube |

My next video is going to be a slide show of RAW pictures I took from this store and another Salt Water store from Queens, NY.

The only thing I have are brand new microfiber towels can that do? Very good point because is going to be in a huge park and there's nothing but dirt. But I will be sitting in bleachers. Which brand would you recommend I'm going to stop by the pharmacy real quick. Also I noticed when I put on my batteries the new ones sometimes it shows yellow like very low and sometimes green. Any idea why? I remember reading in the past it has to do with the software or settings not sure. Thanks I will have fun I always do tons of great food will be there too :)

Hey guys I haven't been on here for a while I been busy working. But today since I am catholic we have a huge event locally. Is the Virgin Mary birthday and I am planning in taking my KX. But my concern is the weather. Is going to be around 37 degrees and the wind will be around 10-15 mph. So it might feel a bit cold. It kinda sucks I wasn't able to get some rechargeable batteries so I am hoping the new energizer batteries it came with should give me a good amount of pictures and video for like 4-5 hours. Also I did bought a bag for it and is pretty comfortable so thats why I am fine of bring it out. Keep in mind it has not STEP outside since I got it lol

Sorry guys forgot to update this. Apparently on Tuesday I believe I went to Sears at one of my local malls. I score a Sony memory card of 8gb for $13 so I bought 2, they work like a charm right off the bat. I used my KX yesterday during our Thanksgiving diner and got some cool shots. All thought it could have been better but someone give me a break here :( :) I am still learning how to do some shots without auto on. I also got my new lens (Pentax 50mm F1.7) here before Thanksgiving but didn't play with it until today I will test it out. Happy late Thanksgiving guys! better late than never! Here comes Xmas my bday  and New Year eve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You make a great ugly scary point lol I will definitely take your advice. All thought since I am used to having a shoot and point camera I am used to using it in one big card for videos and pictures and I never in my life had a bad memory card. *Knock on wood, instead I tend loose them. A couple of years back I was going to Mexico for my first time after so many years and I remember I went to Walmart that night because the next day in the morning was the flight. I bought a 8gb memory card and when I got home I was trying to test my camera because it wouldn't ready any card. I had 2 by then the one I bought and one I already had, well minutes went by I lost it I have no idea how.

Yes I am looking to start a thread soon of some pictures I have as a first timer. They were shot with the 18-55, everyday when I am at work I see some cool military airplanes and helicopter flying by during the day and at night it looks bad arse lol they come down really low at this parking lot I know. Everyday I see them I get mad for not having my camera with me lol I am too scare to bring it out and not having a bag for it I don't even have batteries chargeable yet. I might hit some local stores tomorrow to see if I find the enloops I want. I found a cool seems to be comfortable bag to start with for $30 by Pentax. I also need a memory card I am going to see if the micro SD works with an adapter would it hurt if I try? Since no ones was able to answer this question.

I see now yea it comes out around $10.11 is not bad I guess. I was told I could probably get it for $5 theres also this one 49mm Lens Reversing Adapters For Pentax K PK Reverse Mount Macro Adapter Ring | eBay
They look kinda different compare to the one you send me I am not sure, also the one from China looks kinda cheap. I think the one you send me seems to be better and also I would get it faster since I am in Georgia,USA. Just to clarify something since I am still learning :o You can't do both things at the same time with the ring right? Like reversing one lens for macro and adapting the other lens lol it would either be to reverse a lens or to adapt another lens onto another one.

I need the reversed ring to use as macro. So if I get the ring with male threads on both sides I can use it as a reversed ring and to attach 2 lenses together?? I know is a 49mm just not sure what is suppose to look like or which one is good from Ebay.
