Looking at the answers from others, it seems like most people don't want innovation. Just the stable offerings that we got from Pentax for years. I think that this product segment will continue to shrink though.

Well, it sure got me to activate my account again and login. Just purchased the 100 WR Macro, instead of jumping ship to Sony. Hope Pentax will reward me with some interesting news soon.

Top 30 is pretty clear to me. But then there is the challenge of getting the top ones. Innovation is what gets me the most hooked on this kind of photography.

Likewise. I have been in Prague for 3.5 years now, and I never seem to run out of subjects.

Hi all,
Quite new to the site. Sports photography has been something that I would like to spend more time on. Living in a foreign country where I don't know the language fully yet, complicates it when taking the gear into stadiums. I shot these pics below when home on vacation in Sweden though. The K-5 is more than capable. It's more the lens that sets the limitations for me so far (Would like a faster lens, so I can decrease the depth of field a bit, as well as shooting on lower ISO).
I prefer football to hockey though, as I have much more knowledge about the sport.

Hi all,
I have been lurking these forums for over a year now as it's an invaluable resource for anything Pentax, and a good forum to discuss photography in general as well. So as I want to have a bit more active part in the community I decided to register.
I shot Pentax a bit in the manual era (together with Nikon and Canon. Basically used all cameras I could get a hand on), but when entering the digital age I went with Canon. This year I thought it was time for an upgrade so I have invested in a K-5. Really satisfied so far!
I am Swedish, but is currently living in the beautiful city of Prague in Czech Republic.

Another vote here for the Tenba Messenger. I had mine for about 2-3 months, and I use it everyday. It's very comfortable to carry, even with heavy gear. And it has fast access to it with the quick zipper on the top. It can feel a little bulky when taking a laptop with me as well though.
