You can see the differences here: SF-Series Film Bodies | The K-Mount Page
The SF1 (87) was the 1st practical AF camera from Pentax (after the MEF)
The SF10 (88) was a follow up, and I'm not sure if this was a middle-tier camera compared to the SF1/SF1N that where the flagship

The MOskva5 is one of those cameras that are copies of the prewar Ikontas
The earlier your camera the better it is built (check the 1st 2 digits of the S/N in the back)
You cna find the service manual for the SUper Ikonta which will get you 90% there for all your needs

I think yours is a SP500 or SP1000 depending on the top speed. These are version previous to the SPII that appeared later as entry-level cameras
Especially with that 50/2. Those work fine with Silver batteries and are built like tanks
You can get those service manual for free here: Pentax Manuals
Get the National Camera and both Spotmatic service and parts list
PS The wind lever might just be gummed y the old light seal material that made its way to it. How are the foams seals in the back of the film-gate?
and the late SMC 55/2 is a VG lens (it is the 55/1.8 with a limiter on the diaphragm)

Yeah, those Tessars are awesome, by the time they were color-corrected and had coating so flare stopped being an issue
I'm addicted to the rigid Contessas and the LK /LKE are probably the best of the bunch
When I open than Contina I'll see if I can transplant one of those lenses from a dead camera to the folder ....

When the N90 came I wanted one so bad. I had experience with the F3 and F4 for a short stint taking pics for a newspaper and the N90 seemed sooo cooolll
I didint have the money then, but now they go cheap

Finaaly got a Contina II in decent shape for a decent price (not as low as Driline)
So here are the 3 post-war 35mm Folding Zeiss cameras, designed by Hubert Nerwin
Contina II - Contessa 35 - Ikonta 35/Contina

XP2 is easier to scan than true BW
However, the look of real BW film is different; and I prefer it.

I prefer the Spotmatic, for the time (1964) it was a great camera. Light, efficient, reliable and with a great line of lenses to complement it.
The Nikon F was incredibly versatile but it was a heavy beast!
I'dd add the, Topcon, Minolta and MIranda cameras as competitors
The Olympus OM-1 came way later (1972) (OM4 is from the 80s)

That 2020 is lovely, I'll take it anyday over the Canon!
However the Canon was a queantum leap forward in AF at the time

That would be correct, humans build tools and use them to create the next set of tools, forgetting how they made the 1st set in the process.
Apollo had many many prblems to solve, starting by learning all the unknowns of what happen to people out in space, how do machines behave, etc. Which should be not part of the equation.
However there are still many other problems that were not part of the euqation at that time, I can't fathom the environmental impact of any of the side-projects and the resources they took.
While in theory we could do it again, there is a problem of RoI on the trips, hardware, etc etc
Yeah, probably an IFone has thousands of times the computing power of the Apollo !
BUT, is it as reliable as those hardwired computers?

The screw-AF lenses will work alright on the MS-Z (I have tested several DSLR lenses in the MZ-7) I'm not sure about SDM
The main issue will be whether this are 35mm or APS-C lenses
The latter will have some vignetting but will work fine

That is perfect for the SP and SPII
The SP-F has a larger battery cavity to fit SR76/SR74/AG13

Even some handheld lightmeters can only operate on 1.35V (e.g. Gossen) and some cameras didn;t have voltage regulation.
For those cases hearing aid batteries are cheap and do the job well; just use o-rings to match the size
This question should be part of the FAQ for the Spotmatics, it gets asked a lot and the 1.5V makes hardly a difference

I used Microphen 1+3 for 23min agitating the 1st 30 secs and then every 2 minutes
Exposure was at ISO 320-400 but since I use old folders I like to have some latitude and that is why I use the extra dilution and slow agitation
