Considering selling things - what lenses would you keep?

*updated the list to clarify what variation I have of certain lenses

Interesting replies so far! I was deliberately not giving away too much, to not influence the responses.

A bit more context for now though:
- I have used the DA55-300 and DA300 + TC for a trip with a lot of wildlife and haven't used them since, doesn't make sense to sell them and buy them again when they're needed for the same occasion somewhere in the future.
- There is no pressure to sell whatsoever, just the question if I'm pointlessly hanging on to stuff for the sake of collecting it. Selling things only makes sense if I'm not tempted to buy it back later.
- I use both FF (if weight and size is not an issue) and APS-C (longer periods of time, travel with public transport, non-photocentric days etc.)
- I prefer to use primes, so absolute no go's for me are the DA ltd series and the FA ltd series (though I could part with the ltd 40 and the ltd 35)
- Next to the primes a DA and a DFA lighter weight weather sealed zoom I consider essential (20-40 and 28-105)
- a DA and DFA wide aperture zoom are a nice to have though in reality I hardly use them or any of the other zooms. (seems to be the basic set of zooms though)

The whole thing started out with what I needed, or thought I needed, before it being replaced.
But well...once you get the DA ltd 15, 21, 70, and come across the 40, you might as well add the 35 to complete the set right?
It is also why a lot of it is bought second hand, not needed but nice to have for the right price. Double focal length coverage started to appear after a while.

I'm wondering if there is anyone with the same experience here that eventually decided to sell anything not used?
How did that turn out? What was the reasoning? Any regrets?

Thanks for the input so far!

My collection is getting a bit out of hand, pretty much all of them I would consider "wanted", certainly not needed.
I have a K1-II and a K3-II (+hardly used MX and Z-1P) and mainly shoot street/travel
Pretty much all lenses were bought second hand.

Though I'm not sure If I want to part with any of these lenses, I was wondering:
- What would be your "essential" collection out of this list
- (what you would keep for sure, even if not essential)

Perhaps your input could make it easier to consider slimming down.

The list
DA 15 ltd SMC
DA 21 ltd SMC
DA 35 ltd SMC
DA 40 ltd SMC
DA 70 ltd SMC
DA 20-40 ltd
DA 55-300 WR PLM
DA* 55
DA* 200
DA* 300
DA* 16-50
DA* 50-135
DA TC 1.4x
DFA 100 macro
DFA 24-70
DFA 28-105
FA 20 2.8
FA 28 2.8
FA 35 2.0 (non HD)
FA 50 1.7
FA 135 2.8
FA* 24
FA* 28-70
FA* 80-200
FA ltd 31
FA ltd 43
FA ltd 77
F 28 2.8
F 50 1.7
M 28 2.8
M 50 1.7
M 135 3.5

If you think anything is missing, I'm curious as well! :)
(from a collection point of view I would say the FA*85, DA*11-18, DA*60-250 and any missing current DFA lenses, I'm not really interested in tele stuff)

Instagram - color shift/sharpness problems - can't get quality right

From what I read in that link, instagram assigns its own color profile to all uploaded photos.
So that wouldn't explain why photos like fine on other people's account.
Even on mobile I can see the difference.

So far I've tracked down Lightroom Mobile as the potential source of the problem (when sharing directly to IG from LR mobile)
And the Sony X-Reality for mobile image-improvement setting on my phone, though I'm not sure if this actually changes the color profile on the image when viewing it, before uploading.

There is only one option with sRGB.
This wouldn't matter anyway, since the exact same image looks different on e.g. flickr.

Somehow it changes the image when uploading it to IG through my phone, while this shouldn't happen and doesn't seem to happen for other people.

The square frame is added prior to uploading, I do this to make sure all images in my feed have the same size, no matter their orientation (portrait, landscape, panorama, etc.)

The images look different in the same webbrowser.
If I open the image directly in the web browser it looks ok, if I view the same image on flickr it looks ok too.
If I view other people's image on instagram they are also ok, it is specifically the image that I uploaded to IG that are affected.
Meaning the problem somehow happens when uploading.

For example:

I've been posting on Instagram for a while now and normally only look at my feed on my phone.
Colors on my phone are boosted (sony) so everything seems fine, but I checked it on a computer recently and I noticed how the colors and sharpening are totally off.

I edit all my photos in lightroom on a calibrated desktop monitor before posting them to instagram.
When I view them on the computer, colors are faded/greenish and photos seem highly over sharpened.
I know the resolution/compression is terrible on IG, but everyone else's photos look fine/much better in terms of color and sharpness. .
I export and downsize my photos using lightroom, adhering to instagram's 1080*1080 pixels and sRGB.

Side by side, the same photos look great in windows photo viewer and terrible in my web browser (tried both chrome and edge).
Same photos also look as intended on Flickr.

Anyone got an idea of what might be the problem?
I'm normally uploading directly from my synced lightroom mobile feed, but I also tried exporting to .jpg, transferring to my phone and then uploading, it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I've since uploaded almost 400 photos so far, it is highly annoying to realize all of them seem to be of subpar quality.

Agreed it is more evident at wider apertures, but still pretty evident if you ask me.
I also agree that sometimes the shot looks better with lens distortion uncorrected.
To me bright sunlight also seems to work really nice on the FA31.

As requested, here are some examples where I think the FA31 really shines at F7.1/F8.0 or higher, all on the K3/K3-II (didn't have the K1-II at the time yet)

Good job on not overexposing those lights and signs too much!

Though I don't really see what I should be looking at in the photo?
Nothing going on really. Through the composition I'm mainly drawn to the LIDL sign and to the empty street in the middle, which is..well...empty.
The photo doesn't hold my attention.

Considering it is shot on the K1 with a pretty good lens, I would also say sharpness and colors could look better.

K3 shutter about to fail ??

Are you sure it is the shutter and not the mirror you are hearing?
My advice would be to just keep on shooting until it fails, or get a backup if it is really important stuff.

Hope it will make it until the K-new is released!

Switching from Lightroom... but where to? (CaptureOne or DxO Photolab?)

My question would be why not just stick with Lightroom? If you have been using this program for years, you like it and you know how to work with it very well, why switch?
10 dollars a month is not that much and the whole cloud thing is actually kinda cool, even if you just use Lightroom Classic CC, what I use. (access to photos on your smartphone to show people wherever you are for example)

Other programs cost money too and there is no guarantee that those companies won't switch to a cloud based version with monthly subscription in a couple years.

Nice Camera, but I doubt a lot of Pentax users would pay this kind of money, even if it came with all those features.
If you're considering camera's at that price point, it is probably your job.

And at what point do you know if the image is going to be worthwhile?
Do your for instance first snap a photo at a very high ISO to get a basic idea?

Thanks, I like the image because it shows how busy and chaotic Tokyo can be (there is a lot going on in the image), but also how everything is very tightly ordered (straight lines, clear divisions)
