Just got latest 18-250m addition. I see that there is no Pentax addition planned for 2nd qt. Everyone should send in each month a request. They will only respond to the largest request. I ask each month for FA 50 f1.4, DA*200 f2.8, DA* 300 f4, Tamron 17-50 f2.8, 28-70 f2.8, 70-200 f2.8, Sigma 17-70 f2.8-f4, 70-200 f2.8. Going to request 8 new ones each month. If enough of us do that each month, maybe will be noticed.

The factory setting to change is Menu|Setup|18.High-ISO Noise Reduction|2 Weakest|
Try that and see if it helps.

Tamron 17-50 f2.8 is as good resolution as Photozone had tested. I have had for 3 months and AF is dead on and sharp at 2.8 at all lengths. Love it. Great walk around lens.

Anyone interested in picture quality at bargain price, check Paul's website for example photos of identical items. FA 50mm f1.4 is the only one sharper than the M75-150 zoom.

If you want to wait for the 100 f2.8 for least money, use your 50mm f1.4. Look at extension tubes, close-up lens, or reverse ring. Any one of the alternative methods can be had for less than $30.
A very good M 100mm f4 can be had on evilbay for $75 to$125. I have used extension tubes and closeup lens with the 100mm f4 to bring it to 1:1 also.
Like anything there are good and bad products in each of methods.
But you have a known quality in the 50mm f1.4.
